    How To Withdraw From Paypal In Kenya Using Payoneer Prepaid Mastercard

    The concept of making money online Kenya has been taking root as the years go by.  More and more Kenyans are realizing that it is possible for them to earn descent income working online. However, most are usually discouraged when the time to withdraw their money comes. This is because many companies that offer jobs online pay through PayPal.

     Can You Withdraw From Paypal To Your Bank Account in Kenya?

    PayPal does not have any links with Kenyan banks. This makes it impossible for Kenyans making money online to transfer their earnings to their local banks.  Kenya is not listed on PayPal’s website as one of the countries where people can withdraw money directly to local banks. This is very frustrating for Kenyans depending on online jobs to make their daily meal.

    Luckily, there is way out for Kenyans receiving their payments through PayPal. They can apply for a Payoneer Prepaid MasterCard to be able to withdraw their cash from PayPal. With this card, you will actually use the “withdraw” option in your PayPal account. It is the easiest and most reliable way to withdraw money from PayPal in Kenya. It will take 2 working days or 3 at most to have the money available in you card. Cool, huh?

    To apply for this card, click here to visit the Payoneer Website. You will be asked to fill in your personal details (name, location, ID no, Address etc.).When you have all the information, it will take you less than 15 minutes to fill in the form.

    After filling the application form and being aceepted, you will receive an email indicating when you should expect your card to reach you. It will be mailed directly to the mail address you provided during application. Here is an example of the type of message to expect;

    You will also receive your US payment service details. The details include your name, name of bank, account number and the routing number. Keep this information safe because you will have to give it to PayPal.

    It usually takes close to a month to receive the card. Once you have the card, you will have to activate it. You can do this when you log in to your Payoneer account. After setting your pin, you card will now be active. You will be ready to withdraw money from PayPal in Kenya. Log in to PayPal, go to your profile and give your bank details. Once you submit this information, your PayPal account will be linked to the US virtual bank account you provided.

    The charges

    There is a small amount you will have to part with when using Payoneer Prepaid Mastercard to withdraw from PayPal in Kenya. Here are the charges:

    Annual fee - $29.95
    Load fee – 1% of the amount transferred from your PayPal account.
    ATM withdrawal Charges - $3.15 per withdrawal

    There are no hidden fees when using Payoneer Prepaid Mastercard to withdraw money from PayPal. The annual fee is charged once after every 12 months. This means that if the annual fee is deducted on 5th September 2013, the next deduction will be on 5th September 2014.

    The card only works on MasterCard branded ATMs. There are plenty of them in Kenya . KCB ATMs, I &M bank ATMs, Equity bank ATMs, Pesa Point ATMs are just few examples. Make sure that you don’t attempt to withdraw an amount that is more than what you have in your card. An attempt t withdraw more may make the ATM seize or “Eat” your Card. Check the amount you have in your card online and multiply it with the prevailing dollar exchange rate  before you go to withdraw. Personally, I think KCB and I&M offer the best rates.

    Apply for Payoneer Prepaid MasterCard today to be able to withdraw from PayPal in Kenya.
